See the bag of potting soil? I may or may not have picked up two of those to load in my van. It may or may not have been a good idea since I am still not supposed to be lifting heavy objects, doing laundry or loading/unloading the dishwasher. I may or may not be a little sore today from that manuver.
These are the herbs I planted. I have never grown herbs before. Should I also plant a peach tree? (Don't mind me, it's late and I am getting loopy. Imagine what I was like on pain killers!)
Today I got to plant them. Aren't they lovely?
I always have to plant Geraniums in honor of my grandma's. I don't know if they had Geraniums, but they just seem like a grandma flower. (again, it's late, ignore me)
One last shot....Isn't she pathetic? Mommy, I want to be outside with you. I promise I won't run around. YEAH RIGHT!
What a great mother's day gift!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Brenda, they are SO pretty! Oh man, if we lived close to each other we would be so dangerous at the garden centers together!! Geraniums are one of my favs. One flower that I really love and that my Grandma hated is the gladiola. I think they are so pretty but she worked in a flower shop for over 20 yrs and they always used them in funeral arrangements. She would see them in my yard when we lived in CT and just wrinkle her nose, LOL.
ReplyDeleteWow you should come visit SW MO... I'll pick up all the heavy stuff, you can plant pretty flowers for me! This will be my first summer (as of June 1) to plant flowers for ME and I can't wait!! Although I don't have a green thumb at all!
