5 - Some Gave All
One of the challenges this week is "shoes". When I saw that, I immediately thought about the memorial down the road. There is a unit of boots in march formation and then off to the side is a pair of boots for the fallen/missing soldier. I love this place, I love that I drive by it almost everyday and I love that it reminds me of the young men and women who put their lives on the line so that I might live in freedom. I had a really hard time choosing the shot to post - don't be surprised if you see more of these as I learn how to process and make them "better".

ReplyDeleteI really like this photo, I come from a military and law enforcement family so these types of images hit home. As Lisa said its very simple and very powerful.
